He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years Marilyn Burkhalter; six daughters Rhonda Gray, Krystal Harnage (Jimmy), Melanie Aday (Robin), Amanda Miller (Barry), Shala Massengill (Kody Boykin) and Ashlyn Kimber Burkhalter and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family respectfully asks that attendees wear masks and practice covid safety precautions. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Osborn and his parents, Nim and Nellie Mae Wooten. She opened her home and heart to her extended family, church, and her childrens friends. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clyde Ellis Moore; three daughters, Tamela M. Holmes, Penny M. Raper (Brent) and Mary Elizabeth Moore; four granddaughters; Jaime Moore, Jennifer M. Hopkins (James), Haley S. Bost (Wesley) and Alyson Raper and two great-grandsons, Donevon Hopkins and John Wesley Bost. Private family services will be held at a later date. Charlie Summerford officiating.
